This review is from: Mediabridge Ultra Series – Dual Shielded Subwoofer Cable – RCA to RCA Gold Plated Pro Grade Connectors (8 Feet) (Electronics)
This cable is made of shielded RG6 coax cable with gold RCA ends. The ends fit snug and won’t rattle out of your sub or reciever. The sound quality is perfect. It is not the most flexible of cables but that shouldn’t really matter. You can’t beat them for the price. I’m happy. Don’t waist a ton of money on “premium cables” that will not sound any better.

“A cable is a cable,” you say? Well not this one. It surpasses your ordinary RCA cable by far. While most RCA cables plug in and remain relatively loose and… friction free, this cable grips the terminal very nicely. Thanks to the tighter connection with the terminal, there is a lot more friction which means that the cable is making contact and connecting much better than your standard RCA cable. Gold ends and double shielding to boot make this cable a great choice for a subwoofer cable for your new, or existing, home theater system.

agree with other reviewers… just the matter of inserting it first time, all set. But its not too big (only 8 ft) and not so flexible (its thick), so mobility is not great. But if you are 1 like me who will keep subwoofer in close proximity (as my home allows), it is for you… can’t beat the price. Sound quality is as good as 1 from best buy (dynex) which I returned as it costs double…

This HDMI Switch is suitable for use in any system where you need to accommodate more HDMI sources than you have available HDMI inputs on your television or A/V receiver. The switch defaults to the first active HDMI input upon power-up, and then choice between the active inputs can be controlled either by way of the switch button on the front panel or by the included remote control. Because HDMI switching often involves extended distance runs, this switch …For More Information CLICK HERE!!!
This review is from: HDMI switch, 5 in, 1 out, with remote control; ATC certified, Built-in Equalizer, Blue Jeans Cable brand (Electronics)
I first purchased an Auvio 2-In/1-Out HDMI Selector Switch from my local Radio Shack store so that I could connect both a satellite receiver and a DVD/Blu-Ray player to the television set, which has only one HDMI input receptacle. The thing worked for a few seconds and then refused to transmit a signal from either device to the TV. I returned it to Radio Shack, where a clerk hooked it up and it worked perfectly. I brought it home again, reconnected it, and, as before, it absolutely refused to operate at all.
Consequently, with crossed fingers, I ordered this Blue Jeans Cable brand HDMI 5-In/1-Out Switch from Amazon to give it a try. Understandably, I was nervous that it, too, might work fine in the store, so to speak, only to sit obstinately dark in my house. However, I wired it up by merely plugging in the input HDMI cables from the satellite box and the Blu-Ray player and then plugging in a cable from the switch’s output to the TV. And, of course, attaching its 5-Volt transformer to the power strip. The switch worked instantly and perfectly, and, so far, continues to do so.
If only one input device is powered on, the switch automatically selects that one to connect to the TV. If more than one is powered on, the user can select which one for the switch to connect either by pressing a selector button on the switch itself or by using the tiny remote control that comes with it. Other than a small visual diagram folder, no detailed instructions are included with the switch because none are needed. The switch is simplicity itself, and I really cannot envision how its performance could be bettered by any other. I regret not finding and ordering this switch in the first place. It is infinitely superior to the Auvio I bought from Radio Shack.

Tried a Kinivo 301BN switch, but it was DOA; my TV constantly complained that I should “check signal cable”. I’ve got a Samsung LN40a and Panasonic BluRay and HP laptop. Bought this Blue Jean box, hooked up my HDMI input and output cables, powered up and it works… flawlessly! These are the results I expected the first time. I recommend this box to anyone!

This review is from: HDMI switch, 5 in, 1 out, with remote control; ATC certified, Built-in Equalizer, Blue Jeans Cable brand (Electronics)
This is my first HDMI switch and I was really worried about purchasing one with all the negative reviews out there about other types of switches like these. Let me assure you that there is no worry! I hooked this thing up super quick and had it working within minutes. I was also worried about the price, with it being such a great price I worried that I would be “getting what I paid for,” but this was not the case. It is a really great project and even though the remote is not a necessity it is kind of fun to have it. If you are in the market for a HDMI switch, don’t pass this one up; the price is great and the product is even better!
